Welcome to Flashback DXB. By scheduling a pickup, placing an order, requesting a quotation, or using our website services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review these terms carefully prior to submitting your physical media or personal items to our team.

1. Scope of Digitization Services

Flashback DXB provides professional media conversion, digital transfer, photo scanning, and restoration services across the United Arab Emirates. Supported formats include VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV, Hi8, Video8, Digital8, Betamax, audio cassettes, photo prints, negatives, slides, floppy disks, and optical media. Our services encompass door-to-door collection, media condition evaluation, high-definition conversion, digital delivery, and the safe return of original items.

2. Media Inspection and Condition Disclaimers

All items undergo a preliminary inspection upon arrival at our facility. While our technicians perform minor physical repairs—such as tape splicing, shell replacements, or surface dust cleaning—where possible, we cannot guarantee total recovery for media severely affected by age, humidity, heat exposure, magnetic shedding, or heavy mold growth. If an item is determined to be non-transferable, you will be notified immediately, and the item will be safely returned.

3. Customer Guarantees & Copyright Ownership

By providing physical media or digital files to Flashback DXB, you explicitly declare and warrant that:

• You are the legal owner of the submitted materials or have explicit legal authorization from the rights holder to copy, convert, and digitize the content.
• The materials do not contain illegal content or infringe upon third-party copyrights. Flashback DXB reserves the right to decline service for any media that violates local legal regulations.

4. Pickup, Delivery, and Customer Packaging

We provide door-to-door courier service across all seven emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain). Customers are required to place all physical tapes, albums, or items into a securely sealed box or bag prior to handing them over to our logistics representative. While we take every precaution during transport, Flashback DXB is not responsible for damages resulting from inadequate customer packaging.

5. Pricing, Payment, and File Verification

Project pricing is determined by media type, quantity, and optional restoration requests. Outstanding invoices must be settled in full following project completion before digital download links, USB storage, and physical originals are released. Customers are encouraged to inspect their digital files upon receipt. Any missing items or file playability concerns must be reported to our team within 7 days of delivery.

6. Limitation of Liability

Flashback DXB treats every customer item with maximum care. In the unlikely event that physical media is lost, stolen, or damaged while in our custody due to unforeseen equipment failure or force majeure, our liability is strictly limited to the cost of replacing the blank physical media item (e.g., a replacement blank VHS tape or blank USB drive).

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the local laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Any disputes arising in connection with our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.
